I Thought You'd Take My Hand is the second single from The Wound (January 30th 2024, Sliptrick Records), second full-length album from Spanish post hardcore band The Distance.

Musically, I Thought You'd Take My Hand stands out for its melody and rawness, which combines perfectly with the emotionality of its lyrics that evoke a journey of loss and search for shelter in relationships that are no longer there.
