"Sweet" is Royal Castles' Anthemic Antidote to Feelings of Isolation
The Guelph, contemporary garage-power-pop trio, Royal Castles, are known for their energetic, hard hitting hooks for days, blending riffy guitar licks, wooly bass and ear-candified harmonies.
They have partnered again with producer Zane Whitfield (The Glorious Sons, The Blue Stones) and are currently releasing five new songs towards an EP called Singles Night.
Lead single, "Sweet," is all about good love, good people, good times and breaking free from isolation. The last few years have spun us all out and we need to remember "where the kids go" and make that our destination, together. "Sweet" is meant to play on repeat.
The song is an anthemic antidote to the isolation too many of us felt. It's meant to make your feet bounce – it's meant to be a party, and it's meant to be a re-celebration.
