Swedish Metal/Punk Group SECOND PLACE Joins Sliptrick

Second Place (SE) Metal | Punk

Although formed in 2017 in Hudiksvall, Sweden, it wasn't until 2023 when Second Place truly became one and found its place in the world. The goal of the metal/punk band is to shine a light on topics that are often considered taboo. The group believes that discussing these issues is crucial and hopes to assist those afflicted with them by making them feel seen and not alone.

The style of Second Place is very unique, like a metal soup where everyone's influences is mixed together, creating a whole new sound. Their influences include Alice in Chains, Faith No More and Slayer. The heavy music Second Place produce has been highly appreciated around metal/punk scene and has started to gain traction worldwide.
