SunMachine: Emotive Alt-Rockers Unveil Powerful New Single and Video for ‘Mercy Killing’ out Oct 18th

SUNMACHINE

EMOTIVE ALT ROCKERS DETAIL POWERFUL NEW SINGLE & VIDEO!

Brit alternative crew SUNMACHINE are poised for ascension, armed with their heartbreaking new single and video, Mercy Killing, which lands everywhere on Friday 18th October.

Formed in 2023 and coming at you from Cambridge, England, SUNMACHINE are comprised of Kieran Osborne (Vocals), Jacob Wix (Guitar/Backing Vocals), Ross Shelley-Pilsworth (Bass/Keys), and Ethan Larcombe (Drums). To date, the emerging quartet have unleashed their captivating debut album, The Nova Effect, and the singles, Who’s It Going To Be and Spine. The releases garnered the support and backing from Total Rock, ERB Radio, Rock Rage Radio, Lost In The Manor, Radio Wigwam, Metal Asylum, and many more. The album also helped the band to foray into touring throughout the UK where audiences have been enamored by SUNMACHINE’s potent live set.

SUNMACHINE are now ready to raise the bar even higher. The band’s new single, Mercy Killing, is their best piece of work to date. Drawing from Linkin Park and Alter Bridge, through to Bring Me The Horizon, the alt rockers have created a song that is emotive, melancholic, and above all, deeply engrossing.

Guitarist Jacob Wix comments about the track: “Mercy Killing is about the beauty that can be found in the worst moments of life. It would have been very easy to make Mercy Killing heavy, and have it be a classic angry heartbreak song—but that would’ve been wrong. Sadness can be as beautiful and as awe-inspiring as happiness.  Just don’t forget to laugh.”

With a UK tour planned for this November and further singles on the way, SUNMACHINE are destined to soar.
