Sunday Factory Release Debut Album "Sleepless"
Hamburg-based rock band Sunday Factory is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of their debut album, "Sleepless," slated to hit shelves on February 23, 2024. Comprising nine tracks that range from infectious rock anthems to soulful acoustic ballads, "Sleepless" promises to captivate listeners with its dynamic sound and heartfelt lyrics.
Written by guitarist Deedee and vocalist Steffi, the album marks a significant milestone for Sunday Factory, following the success of their EP "High and Low" released in June 2022. Recorded entirely from the comfort of their own homes, the band embraced the freedom and creativity afforded by this new approach to production.
Lead guitarist Deedee reflects on the experience, stating, "Recording 'Sleepless' independently allowed us to explore new ideas and experiment with different sounds. It was an incredibly rewarding process that pushed us to evolve as musicians."
Renowned producer Emanuel Knorr from Bremen lent his expertise to the project, shaping the album's powerful sound. Knorr remarks, "Sunday Factory possesses a distinct vision for their music, blending elements of 80s rock with a modern twist. The result is a collection of songs that resonate deeply with rock enthusiasts."
The album kicks off with the energetic track "Run" setting the tone for an electrifying journey through the band's signature sound. Tracks like "Learn to Live Again" and "Heaven" showcase Sunday Factory's versatility, touching on poignant themes such as resilience and loss.
Explaining the album's title, vocalist Steffi shares, "The song 'Sleepless' embodies the relentless pursuit of one's dreams, even in the face of adversity. It perfectly encapsulates the energy and drive that fueled our creative process."
