Suffolk-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter Megan Payne shares single ‘Lost in The Wind’
Megan Payne is an eclectic multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter from Suffolk. She plays a variety of instruments over a wide range of styles and genres. Lost In The Wind is the first single from their collaborative debut album, Kicking My Shoes Off. Kicking My Shoes Off is the name they have chosen to call the album and it has been planned since last year.
This song is kind of a middle point for the different genres and styles featured on the album and also the meanings behind the songs. ‘Lost In The Wind’ describes being very overwhelmed and confused and scrambling to figure out how to get past the problems you are currently facing. It is the middle ground for the music, lyrical content and style/genres all featured on the album. The song was recorded over 2 days and features music and lyrics by Megan Payne and vocals provided by Rozie Faith.
Hopefully this song can instil a picture of expressing feelings and communicating different points of a situation between different people from different perspectives.
