Strand Of Oaks share video for new single "Future Temple" from upcoming album "Miracle Focus" out 7th June via Western Vinyl

Following the earlier singles “More You” and “Party At Monster Lake”, today Strand Of Oaks shares “Future Temple” from his upcoming album Miracle Focus out 7th June via Western Vinyl. Painting was a major influence on Tim Showalter’s forthcoming eighth studio album, both the process of creating his own, including his work that appears on the album’s cover and in the music video for “Future Temple”, as well as the works of others, most notably Hilma af Klint. On the uplifting “Future Temple”, Showalter crafts a beacon to others seeking to behold the beauty of consciousness in our own personal temples – watch the video HERE.

Miracle Focus marks a bold departure from Showalter’s previous introspective and deeply cathartic works that tapped into his own traumas. The songs on Miracle Focus celebrate bliss and connection, and were written following Showalter’s transformative embrace of meditation. Influences like Ram Dass, Alice Coltrane, Freddie Mercury and the Beastie Boys weave through the deeply fun album, creating a joyful soundscape rich with synth layers and mantra-like lyrics.

Miracle Focus was crafted over the past three years during a time in which Showalter’s life underwent extensive creative expansion outside of music. This period saw him flying between his home in Austin, TX, where he took up painting in his garage including creating Miracle Focus’ album art, to Los Angeles, where he played a villainous biker on two seasons of FX’s Mayans M.C., marking his acting debut. This artistic expansion fueled a journey of liberation and a fresh approach to songwriting.

Showalter says: “Every moment on Miracle Focus is a piece of the architecture that fits together to form a temple of peace in my life. Acceptance of who you are, gratitude of being part of a connected universe, and ultimately, I hope it creates one hell of a dance party.”

Miracle Focus is a collaborative effort, with producer Kevin Ratterman (Ray LaMontagne, Heartless Bastards, Joan Shelley) returning as a key partner. Together, they achieved a seamless creative flow in the studio, further invigorated by the presence of Lacey Guthrie on vocals. The album title embodies the collective energy that emerges when individuals come together with purpose and passion. It's a celebration of bliss and the simple beauty of existence.
