Stoke Songstress Lissy Taylor Returns With Stunning New Single 'Feel For Me' - out July 21st

Lissy Taylor - With a talent for creating indie anthems, so far her songs have gained airplay from OJ Borg BBC RADIO 2, Absolute Radio (Skin Show), John Kennedy Radio X and Xposure playlist she is now set to release her latest single ‘FEEL FOR ME’ (21/07/23) alongside the official music video.

‘Feel For Me’ is for thrill seekers. Earth shaking rhythm and monumental drops; a rollercoaster of emotion from anticipation to euphoria. Contrasting an introspective verse to a massive chorus with fiery guitar riffs and powerful vocals made for the mosh pit.  Written to be three and a half minutes of ecstasy.

Lissy explained that the song is about relationships and the journey they take, from starting a new relationship to feelings of wanting to be understood and questioning if a relationship is right for you. ‘Feel For Me’ captures the intensity of emotion felt at different stages of relationships from anticipation and desire to  frustration and heartbreak.  

‘Feel For Me’ was written by Lissy Taylor and produced by Gareth Nuttall (The Lottery Winners, The Ks) The accompanying music video showcases Lissy’s recent performance at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Delving into rock with ‘Feel For Me’ highlights the fluidity and strength of Lissy’s songwriting. With a natural ability to write addictive anthems, her songs range from indie-pop to alternative-rock and will appeal to fans of Sam Fender and Wolf Alice. 

Originally from Stoke with influences from living in the USA (2015 - 17)  and Manchester (2017 - 20).  Lissy formed her band in 2018 and became immersed in the Manchester music scene including regular trips to 42’s nightclub.  The shift towards  indie rock can be heard in her single ‘QUIET RAGE’ from her second EP Undercurrent 2021 leading to a debut Sky TV performance on Live From The Edge, a UK Headline tour and being selected as BIG in 22 by national promoters This Feeling.  Another 4 singles, YOUNG, HEALER, SHE'S A STUNNER AND FIERCE were released throughout 2022 

She performed at YNot Festival and a set at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium ahead of the Champions League game against Sevilla . So far this year she has supported: The Lottery Winners, New Rules, Tommy LeFroy, Rianne Downey, The Blue Tones and Tom Hingley.  She completed her 2nd UK Tour May 2023 with promoters This Feeling and made her debut performance at The Isle of Wight Festival in June.  She recorded at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios in May 2023.
