Speedfossil's New Single and Video out now!

After 3 consecutive top 10 single/videos from their new ROOM WITH A VU, VOL. 1 EP, Speedfossil now presents a 4th, “She’s Doing Fine”.   Working once again with filmmaker Harry McCoy, the video showcases McCoy’s first foray into AI graphic work, along with elements of the ‘lyric style’ video.  Intertwined with these elements is live performance footage from Garret Vandermolen and the Speedfossil band.

The song itself features a hypnotic and propulsive tremolo guitar riff, along with a great arrangement showcasing Speedfossil’s smart pop sensibilities.  This new single/video release comes hot on the heels of the band’s first every UK performances (a 2 night stand in Liverpool) and a recording session at Abbey Road in London that yielded the single, “Silver Lining” which went to #8 on RIA charts in July!

“Silver Lining” will be part of the forthcoming limited edition double LP anthology:  SPEEDFOSSIL-TIME FLIES; 2014-2024 to be released at the end of this year, along with ROOM WITH A VU, VOL 2.  and the limited edition vinyl ROOM WITH A VU, THE COMPLETE SESSIONS.  ROOM WITH A VU, Vol. 1 compact discs and downloads are available now at http://speedfossil.com.

Garret says this about the new song and video:

“We always try to do something a little different for all of our Speedfossil videos, and “She’s Doing Fine” is no exception.   Harry McCoy came up with the concept of mixing AI generated images with live performance video AND incorporating a lyric video element.    I think the result is pretty terrific and I can’t wait for people to check out this next single from our new EP, ROOM WITH A VU, VOL. 1”.
