Sove The Second (pronounced sow-vah) and her collaborator Justice Of The Peace make music for the overwhelmed, with deep feelings and profound realizations. Sove writes from the perspective of entering other worlds on SSRI antidepressants, falling apart in your twenties, consuming Zots, and then ultimately putting yourself back together.  Combining rich instrumentation with folky riddles, Sove creates a poetic space that gestates curiosity. Her cello blends genres and applies classical concepts where they’re not typically considered, creating an essence that sounds like nuance if it had a conscience, with velvety skin and a warm, melancholic core.
