SON Estrella Galicia bring a third exciting taste of Spanish nightlife to London on Thursday 15th June, continuing a partnership with cult Hackney venue Paper Dress Vintage.

Since 2009, SON Estrella Galicia has created events that offer a twist on the traditional concert experience in Spain, Brazil, Portugal and the US, and are now in the UK with their partnership with Paper Dress Vintage.

A night of exhilarating live music, beer culture and positive impact is promised with UK based pop provocateur Jessica Winter and experimental art-rock project Miss Tiny, and eccentric Spanish electronic trio Playback Maracas taking to the stage. DJs will soundtrack the night both indoors and outdoors.

In line with Estrella Galicia´s efforts towards sustainability, the event will have interactive elements embodying the Reduce, Re-use and Recycle mantra. This is will involve a collaboration with an artist whose ethos is in line with that of the brand’s dedication to positive impact.

Estrella Galicia’s beer experts will once again be on hand to provide guests with workshops exploring the brand’s artisanal approach to their craft.  Further to this - there will be a gastronomical element to the night, with details to be revealed soon.

This night is the third in a series of collaborations between SON Estrella Galicia and Paper Dress Vintage - an ongoing cultural exchange intent on bringing Spanish beer culture and musical talent from the UK and Spain together.

The Guardian, Quietus, and Rolling Stone championed pop provocateur and producer Jessica Winter will perform off the back of her recent Limerence EP - a collection of twisted-pop songs released via cult label Lucky Number in February. Her vital live sets have seen her support artists as varied as Death Grips, Rebecca Black and Peaches, and grace stages for SXSW, Field Day and Reading & Leeds.

Miss Tiny - the brand new project of iconic producer Dan Carey and Benjamin Romans-Hopcraft (Warmduscher, Childhood) will bring their intense, experimental art-rock to the stage as well. Debuting at the iconic Windmill venue in Brixton as part of their campaign conquering the DIY-stages of London’s underbelly, they are gearing up to release their debut EP DEN7.

And following the release of their debut album Playback Maracas & The Electronic Moon Orchestra, eccentric Catalan trio Playback Maracas - who have garnered the attention of the public, press and promoters alike with their Latin electronic pop, jam-packed with analogue drum machines, ethereal keyboards and exotic guitars - will represent the Spanish element. Their innovative and infectious sound draws from a number of sources (indie, house, psychedelia, cumbia) to form the perfect music to dance to all night long. On the partnership, Victor Mantiñán, Head of Global Music Sponsorship at Estrella Galicia says:

“We're delighted to be partnering with Paper Dress Vintage. Passion for beer, positive impact and support for new talent are fundamental axes of the SON Estrella Galicia brand and with Paper Dress’ position at the forefront of promoting emerging artists in London along with their commitment to recycled clothing we’ve found the perfect partner.

Since 2009, we’ve supported emerging talent with our SON Estrella Galicia experiences - frequently betting on new artists who end up as headliners and we see very bright futures ahead of Jessica Winter, Miss Tiny and Playback Maracas and can’t wait to see them in a small venue.”

And Stephen Dix, co-owner of Paper Dress Vintage says:

“A year has flashed by and we're looking forward to celebrating the first anniversary of our partnership with Estrella Galicia with another huge party. Once again they've pulled together a brilliantly buzzy line-up from the London scene, matching the magnetic Jessica Winter with brand new act Miss Tiny, and we're particularly anticipating the set from Barcelona electronic act Playback Maracas, a rare treat. Matching these 2 music scenes together alongside delicious al fresco gastronomy on a Summer evening in Hackney is the stuff dreams are made of...roll on 15 June!”

There are a very limited number of tickets available on sale 10am Friday 26th via DICE
