UK thrash stalwarts Solitary are set to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a band, but they're not interested in looking back. The Preston band are harder, faster and heavier than ever and they're set to prove that with a devastating new single and video, the fiercest, most focussed album of their career and an extensive UK/Ireland tour!
Out today is pummelling speed-ball single, 'Settle Scores The Old Way' a blistering riff assault of classic thrash done the right way. This beast of a track hits with a potent savagery that will knock any doubters into the middle of next week - pure neck-snapping metallic fury! 'Settle Scores The Old Way' is taken from the new full length Solitary album, Embrace The Darkness, which will be released on August 23rd. Once again produced by Simon Efemey (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Deceased etc) who helped fashion Solitary's last thrash masterpiece, The Truth Behind The Lies, Embrace The Darkness shows a band operating at the absolute peak of their powers. Adorned in the unmistakeable artwork of the legendary Koot (Saxon, Girlschool, The Almighty etc) this is the finest Solitary album to date.
