SLOWBURN ignites anticipation: New Album Cover, Tracklist & Debut Single Released!
Hailing from Madrid, the Spanish Heavy Metal force known as SLOWBURN is poised to release their second album, "Fire Starter". Slated for an October 17th, 2023 release through Fighter Records, both CD and Digital formats will be available for ardent fans and newcomers alike.
Founded in 2015 by Jorge Serrano, also known as the bassist of RANCOR, SLOWBURN quickly took shape and form. Over the years, the band has undergone transformations and welcomed seasoned musicians from Madrid's vibrant metal scene, including members from notable acts such as Roar, Rancor, Metal Legion, and Motociclón.
Their debut album "Rock and Roll Rats", which hit the shelves in February 2020, was met with enthusiasm. However, the unforeseen global pandemic brought challenges, leading to some lineup changes. Undeterred, the band took these obstacles in stride, continuing to make their mark by supporting legendary acts such as Steve Grimmet Grim Reaper, Tank, Praying Mantis, Hitten, Witchtower, and Leather Heart, to name a few.
Drawing inspiration from the titans of metal and rock, SLOWBURN crafts a distinctive sound that marries classic Heavy Metal with intricate guitar riffs, rhythmic bass and drum patterns, and captivating vocals. Their musical influences span across decades, from the progressive and 70's hues of bands like BlackFoot and Van Halen, to the 80's Hard Rock might of Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Savatage.
Fast forward to Spring 2023, SLOWBURN is ready to unleash "Fire Starter" - a record that promises an even more polished and mature sound than its predecessor.
"Fire Starter" Tracklist:
Psycho War
Exiled

On Fire
I'm Revenge
