Sliptrick Records Welcome Instrumental Metal Project CRYPTIC CONFINEMENT

Cryptic Confinement (US) Instrumental | Metal | Melodic Thrash Metal

Cryptic Confinement is an instrumental project from Dallas, Texas founded by multi instrumentalist Zakk Weathersby. The debut album Wrath Of The Morning Star, was released on September 1, 2018 and is characterized by winding, layered guitars, pulverizing blast beats and just enough atmosphere to invoke nightmares of inevitable, apocalyptic doom. The first track, Algor Mortis features Psychiatric Regurgitation guitarist and founder Dylan Crouch.

In 2019, Zakk began co-writing a follow up album with Awaken To Remember drummer and longtime friend, Burt Usry. The duo released the second album, The Iniquitous and The Corrupt in 2021.

The new Cryptic Confinement album will called Tempestuous Demise and is set for release via Sliptrick Records later in the year.
