(5th November) Siobhán Winifred and Stevie Bill turn sleuths in the thrilling new video for "Killers," directed by Chaz Rudd. "Killers" is a highlight from Siobhán's recently released EP 'Don't Do Well Alone,' out now on Chess Club Records. The new video arrives ahead of a busy autumn touring schedule for Siobhán, with upcoming dates supporting Blossoms, Alfie Templeman, The Snuts and The Royston Club.

Discussing the inspiration for the new video, Siobhán explained:

"I came up with the idea of the video whilst sat in the cinema watching a 2 hour film I wasn’t that keen on. I mapped out the idea of Stevie and I being detectives on a murder case, playing into the chorus lyrics of Killers. Stevie and I chatted about how Killers is about how even someone close to you can disappoint you and hurt you. So, we honed in on this idea for the video. As the investigation of the murder continues throughout the video, my character starts to question whether her closest ally, Stevie, is in fact the killer. The video escalates with Stevie and I singing Killers in a pub like it’s karaoke - Stevie dancing and having fun, next to me becoming more and more distressed. We intentionally never explicitly say that Stevie committed the crime to mirror how insidious the actions of people with narcissistic tendencies can be. Even if you know you shouldn’t accept someone’s behaviour, it can be easier to forgive than admit what they did."

With Stevie Bill adding:

"I was so excited when Siobhan asked me to be in the music vid. When she pitched the idea of us being detectives I was immediately sold. It was so fun to be all mysterious in our suits, and to practice our acting skills (which I don't have). I wonder if people can figure out who the killer is.."

Siobhán Winifred's debut EP 'Don't Do Well Alone' arrived back in September, on the same week Siobhán's track "Lungs" was selected as BBC Radio 1's Introducing Track Of The Week. Shortly after its release, Siobhán embarked on a sold-out headline run across the UK, culminating in a euphoric show at London's The Lower Third.

Carving out a unique space of her own, Siobhán Winifred has cultivated a passionate following for her deftly pop-tinged, rousing indie-rock. With themes that approach community, friendships, human-connection, personal growth and healing, Siobhán's songwriting is marked by an unflinching vulnerability and relatable depth that belies her age.

With early inspiration touch-points found in Avril Lavigne, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Paramore, more recent influence for Siobhán comes from the work of Sam Fender, Phoebe Bridgers & Boy Genius and Rachel Chinouriri: "I’ve seen all of them live and came away a different person after each gig" - notes Siobhán.

Born & raised in Dorset, UK and of Irish lineage, Siobhán Winifred released her first music independently in 2022, and it wasn’t long before industry tastemakers started taking notice, with her singles so far racking up spins from Mollie King, Jack Saunders, Nels Hylton & Maia Beth at BBC Radio 1 as well as praise from BBC Introducing’s Jess Iszatt, and coverage from the likes of NME, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, DORK, CLASH, Wonderland, Whynow and more.

Siobhán Winifred's debut EP 'Don't Do Well Alone' is out now on Chess Club Records, available to purchase here. Siobhán Winifred tours the UK throughout November and December, with dates supporting Blossoms, Alfie Templeman, The Snuts and The Royston Club.
