SINGLE REVIEW: XIII Doors - Lead the Way

'Lead the Way' is heavy, rocky, ferocious, and downright kick-ass – an electrifying power rock banger! It's loaded with mega hooks, a gritty bassline, and thunderous drums that pour down like a deluge of empowerment. The vocals are magnificently melodic and delivered with confident, clean precision. The instrumentation is complex, and killer guitar solos inject a dynamic burst of craftsmanship and infectious energy. It's undeniably heavy but unapologetically catchy.

'Lead the Way' stands as a phenomenal example of high-speed, highly intricate alternative metal with elements of groove and hard rock. It sits somewhere between Five Finger Death Punch and Avenged Sevenfold, ablaze with passion while delivering a positive message of leaving the past behind. It emphasises not letting old wounds remain open or the weight of mistakes hold you down. Instead, it encourages finding a new path and leading your own way to success.

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (I’m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
