London hard rock duo The Survival Code roar on their fierce, vibrant banger 'We Are Just Fooling Ourselves'.

Gripping riffs, captivating melodies and thundering drums back up stunning, yet raw vocal harmonies. Pulsating guitars and rockstar attitude blast as the band combine Gaslight Anthem, Americana style rock with metallic self indulgence. 'We Are Just Fooling Ourselves' is anthemic and infectious with a bite and insatiable energy. A modern anthem that borrows from the grit of the 90's but with a fresh, current vibrancy.

The screaming solo's give the lads room to flex and show their talents to the max.

The lyrics convey the idea of not being true to yourself, being consumed by others' ideas and adopting them as your own. Losing sight of who you are by allowing yourself to be too easily influenced. Being fooled by your mind into thinking you're being real when in truth you're lost in a wave of other people's expectations.
