SINGLE REVIEW: The Flashpot Moments - Someday (But Not Today)

Boston-based The Flashpot Moments are a little bit good! I highly advise you to stop what you're doing and listen to the latest single 'Someday (But Not Today)' - you can thank me later!

Blending rock with glittering indie jangle 'Someday (But Not Today)' is rich in unwavering harmonies, powerpop tendencies, and captivating new wave synths. There are even some hints of country and Americana coming through. A truly versatile sound. The track shifts tempos and reinvents itself throughout to keep things interesting.

Swooping solos, raging chords, and melodic, somewhat artistic vocals. 'Someday (But Not Today)' is a blissful, arms-in-the-air anthem. Bursting with attitude and addictive energy. It's one of indie rock's first moments!

The lyrics share the idea that sometimes the best survival tactic is to take the "ignorance is bliss" approach, tune out all the noise and live in your own bubble. Making light of serious situations as a coping mechanism to deal with the chaos surrounding you.

Bright and vibrant with a fabulous groove. The track glistens and shimmers with infectious retro-inspired vibes. I guarantee you'll be singing and dancing along by the second listen!

My single of the week!
