SINGLE REVIEW: Tell Me Tell Me - Stop the Rain

Melodic and yearning Oakland's Tell Me Tell Me are back with their latest single 'Stop the Rain'. A track about freeing your mind from the dangers of living in the past, stopping dwelling on the things you can't change, and embracing the moment.

Beaming with vibrant drums and a catchy chorus 'Stop the Rain' infuses indie rock with a danceable tone. It trudges the bounds as it mixes tempos. Everything other than the vocals and drums were recorded on an acoustic guitar using effects, this gives the track a bit of a DIY bedroom vibe.

It's an infectious pop-rock anthem, a feel-good tune with a positive message. The vocals are heartfelt and wholesome blended over melted riffs and a mid-energy groove. 'Stop the Rain' is a warming, pleasing listen.
