SINGLE REVIEW: Red Light Rebels - SOS

'SOS' has come at just the right moment for me. I've recently fallen in love with old-school punk, and 'SOS' fits that bill perfectly. It's got the same kind of energy as bands like Bouncing Soul, Bracket, or No Use For a Name. This track combines wonderfully melodic vocals with a backdrop of killer riffs and pulsating drums, giving it a lively, punchy vibe.

What's especially great about 'SOS' is the dual vocals. The male vocals bring that authentic punk feel, while the female vocals add a smooth, pure quality, kind of like Belly's Tanya Donnelly. When both voices come together for the gang vocals, it's just pure harmony.

'SOS' is intense and urgent, offering an addictive dose of retro punk magnificence. It's high-energy, impulsive, and full of confidence, and it's clear that Red Light Rebels are making the music they truly enjoy.

I can't wait to explore more of the band's music. 'SOS' is definitely going on a few of my playlists.

‘SOS’ is taken from the album “Death To This Town” which is out now!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
