SINGLE REVIEW: Poster Club - Tradeston

'Tradeston' artfully blends C86 indie with dance elements, creating a tune that would seamlessly fit on either a Steve Lamacq indie rock show or Dave Peace's Drive Time (yes, I'm showing my age!). The track weaves together the soft synths of dance, reminiscent of 80s darkwave, with the jangle of 80s indie guitars and the swirling vocals of shoegaze.

There's an air of mysticism as the lyrics hauntingly explore the world of conspiracy theorists and the potential dangers their left-field views could bring. The track culminates in a hypnotic, heavy dance finale. 'Tradeston' is undeniably creative, juxtaposing contrasting genres to craft an absorbing montage of sounds.

Amy

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (Iā€™m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
