SINGLE REVIEW: Positive Chaos - Pick Up the Sun

'Pick Up the Sun' is no frills, classic anthemic rock. The wonderfully melodic vocals have the richest tone and stunning authenticity. The guitars are hooky, and the drums crisp, infused with grunge distortion.  'Pick Up the Sun' boasts a catchy, addictive chorus, triumphant, confident energy and a powerhouse sound.

There's a captivating instrumental including bagpipe connotations comparable to early Big Country.

The lyrics are inspirational as they delve into the idea of keeping moving, striving for better things. Keeping friends that inspire you close and rejecting those who only serve to bring you down. Taking pride in yourself and not looking for others to save you, keeping the knowledge that strength comes from within, that you're your own saviour. You're the one who controls your own destiny and successes.

'Pick Up the Sun' is blissfully rhythmic with wondrous sunshine vibes and it abounds with resonating words of encouragement and positivity.
