SINGLE REVIEW: Mister Rabbit - Anyone

Mister Rabbit shares 'Anyone' from the band's forthcoming album 'End of History Illusion'.

The band strives to create a feeling of being pulled in every direction. They endeavour to take the listener through a journey of emotional turmoil with their fuzzy bass heavy sound. 'Everyone' trudges through the notion of feeling the need to cut yourself off from everything; past, present and future.

Their grungy, Pixies-esque sound features earthy, raw, vocals that are slighting underproduced to give the track complete authenticity. There's an occasional chaotic eruption from the plodding standpoint of whining riffs, impactful, twinkling guitars and pounding drums.

Lyrically the track takes on a dark feel of losing faith in people. Feeling like they're always after something. Getting more despondent with the fact you only feel complete when you're giving despite never getting anything back. The frustration that the more you give the more people want, to the point their wants are things you simply don’t have. The desire to leave everyone behind as you become tired of being taken for a fool and taken for granted.

'Everyone' is laced with angst and torment, delivered in an authentic 90's fuzzed up sound.

Amy

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (I’m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
