SINGLE REVIEW: Miky Dunn - Dissident Narrative

Miky Dunn's latest track 'Dissident Narrative' is a real ripper. With its simple, punchy structure and gritty guitars, this one's got some serious energy. The raw, scuzzy vocals give it a proper rowdy, brash punk vibe. But then that arty, new romantic-tinged chorus hits and you realise Dunn's got more up his sleeve than just straight-ahead punk.

The distorted guitar solo in the middle section is wonderfully chaotic, almost intentionally falling apart at the seams. It's a brilliant contrast to the deeper, more emotive vocals that take over during that part. There's an epic quality to the whole thing - it feels bigger than just your average punk banger.

Overall, 'Dissident Narrative' shows Miky Dunn isn't afraid to push the boundaries of the genre. It's a thrilling, multi-faceted listen that'll get your blood pumping. Proper good stuff.
