SINGLE REVIEW: Mike Delph - Step by Step

'Step by Step' is a fabulous account of the ups and downs of relationships, primarily focusing on romantic ones, although it could easily be applied, at least in part, to friendships or family ties. It acknowledges that the people we hold dearest always love and care for us, but sometimes we drive each other mad. This is a fact of life, and even the closest bonds have their moments of infuriation and frustration, but love is always the driving force that ensures connections aren't broken for long.

This stunning, upbeat toe-tapper radiates catchiness and a benevolent swing. It's filled with groovy hooks and a playful nature. The 50s-inspired guitars, with their distinct, somewhat slap-back echo, give it that close-echoed feeling, as if you're hearing the guitar chords jangle off the wall. Meanwhile, Mike's vocals beam with personality and complement the majestic harmonies beautifully.

It's a fun, heartwarming tune that's sure to bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart.

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (I’m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
