SINGLE REVIEW: LITE - Deep Inside

When I first encountered the label "instrumental" in the bio, I must confess, it gave me pause. It's not typically my go-to musical style, and I was unsure of what to expect. However, 'Deep Inside' proved to be anything but typical.

This tune exceeded my expectations in every way. Its complexity and depth drew me in from the first note. What struck me most was its ability to transcend the confines of instrumental music. While it certainly boasts intricate composition, there's so much more to it than that.

One of the most captivating aspects of 'Deep Inside' is the inclusion of raw vocals that almost had a feeling of being ad-libbed. Rather than detracting from the music, they add a layer of authenticity and interest that I found refreshing but also unexpected. They inject a sense of humanity into the sound, making it all the more compelling.

But it's not just the vocals that make this track stand out. It's the seamless blending of genres that truly sets it apart. Elements of rock mingle with the aggressive, jagged electronic sounds of grime. The rhythmic pulse of EDM intertwines with the fast-paced beats of DnB. And woven throughout it all is the unapologetic rawness and DIY ethos of punk.

Yet somehow, amidst this eclectic mix of influences, 'Deep Inside' maintains a cohesive and distinctive sound. It's a testament to the skill and vision of the artist. The spiky riffs and 80s-inspired synths further enhance its appeal, adding yet another layer of depth to an already rich tapestry of sound.

In short, 'Deep Inside' is a masterclass in musical innovation. It's a bold and ambitious piece that defies categorisation, pushing boundaries and challenging expectations at every turn. And for that reason, it had me hooked.
