SINGLE REVIEW: Jack Foz - I'm Coming Home

Jack Foz is one heck of a talent, the kind of artist where you know within the first ten seconds of a track it’s going to be special. Something instantly captures your attention and imagination. The sound immediately immerses you into a trance-like state unable to do anything but focus on the noise pouring from your stereo while the words speak to you in a deep, profound way. Jack Foz is an artist you don't want to miss.

Latest single 'I'm Coming Home' is a wonderous soundscape of emotions and a beautiful vision of nostalgic sounds with aspects of the synth laden 80's and the drama and rawness of 90's indie. Its engulfing and exhilarating, channelling lo-fi vibes with bursts of grandeur.

The lyrics detail the idea of a traveller who is finally returning home. They've become sick of the world, fed up with greed, feeling lost, alone and with a sense of being broken. Longing for something that they feel unlikely to find. The melancholic themes contrasting the overall uptempo sound of the track, Jack explains this is deliberate, a personal statement and an ode to the way he often hides his own anxieties and struggles behind a smile.

'I'm Coming Home' is a hard hitting indie anthem. Jack delivers his words with stunning clarity and sincerity, it's clear the song means a lot to him and he's pouring everything he has into it.

Jack Foz is a rare gem. Artistic and creative, a beautiful voice and exceptional songwriter. You need to hear 'I'm Coming Home'. It's incredible!
