SINGLE REVIEW: Fakers - Get Out

Nottingham's Fakers share high octane banger 'Get Out'. Formed in 2021, the band have released four singles to date, with 'Get Out' being their 2nd release of 2023.

Sounding comparable to The Vines 'Get Out' is 2 minutes of brash, abrasive, frantic, chaotic, good honest punk! Loud and in your face, it abounds with brazen attitude, raw power, driven sound, and laddish confidence.

The track looks at the times you feel trapped in your current situation, disillusioned by life. It's the moment you sit back and realise you want more. It conveys the burning desire to leave your metaphorical shackles and reach for something better.

DIY vibes, big riffs, shimmering guitars, thunderous drum beat, and raucous vocals. It's the perfect formula for an energetic, crowd-erupting punk anthem! A robust cacophony of abrupt sounds and grinding noise.

'Get Out' is a short but immense track, frantic in its nature, thought-provoking in its words, and sure to be a live favourite

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (Iā€™m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜œ) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
