SINGLE REVIEW: Eremos - Too Far Gone

'Too Far Gone' is a reflective and retrospective heavy rock track with an addictive beat and confident sound.

The lyrics nostalgically delve into a lost love, acknowledging how things change and evolve, even if your own feelings haven't altered. While accepting what's become, it holds onto a spark of hope that things aren't irreparably distant.

The vocals are distinctive, featuring a gritty tone that, in part, are reminiscent of Axl Rose with their higher-pitched and somewhat nasally sound.

Musically, it offers an energetic yet melancholic listen with a charming and likeable melody, a steady drumbeat, and rhythmic, sweeping guitars that build into electrifying solos. It's captivating with elements of classic rock and a hazy grunge influence. The vocal harmonies work well to create depth and a well-rounded sound.

'Too Far Gone' is a sterling effort, especially considering it's created by a group of college students!
