SINGLE REVIEW: Definitely Barney - Losing My Mind

With its rugged and heavily distorted sound, 'Losing My Mind' crafts a perfectly fuzzed-up heavy rock track that skillfully evokes feelings of confusion and bewilderment. Its lyrics are born from the enchanting but ultimately deceptive act of idealising a person, raising them to almost godlike heights, only to later realise, in the clarity of hindsight, that they never truly lived up to the praise you bestowed upon them. It's a contemplative journey where the deeper you delve into the emotional maze, the more your grip on sanity seems to slip away in the pursuit of understanding.

'Losing My Mind' masterfully weaves its distorted but funky grunge inspired riffs with sultry, expressive vocals that effortlessly convey a range of emotions. These vocals find solid support in the rhythmic backbone of the drums, which provide a robust foundation for the track. Simultaneously, a subtle bassline artfully blends in, adding a layer of depth that captivates the listener.
