‘SECOND SKIN’ the EP drops on Friday 28th June 2024
Genre bending, Bristol based Rock, Trap and Drum N’ Bass band SHADE UK, are today happy to announce their debut EP ‘SECOND SKIN’. The EP, which will feature their recent single ‘G.O.D’ and their brand-new EP title track ‘SECOND SKIN’, will be released on Friday 28th June 2024 and is available to pre-save via the link HERE. The announcement comes just a week after the band confirmed to fans that they will be appearing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 29th June.
Speaking on the announcement of their upcoming EP SHADE UK share, “With SECOND SKIN we wanted to create a sonic landscape that is both intense and dynamic. Our aim with this EP was to self-produce an unmistakably unique sound that crosses the boarders of the contemporary heavy music scene.”
Continuing to talk about their new EP title track SHADE UK mention, “With this single we aim to plunge listeners into an exhilarating fusion of bands such as Bring Me The Horizon and The Prodigy with the high-energy beats of Drum & Bass. SECOND SKIN epitomises our genre-defying sound and feel’s like the perfect release to summarize the EP as a whole.”

After the release of their initial singles 'Pablo' and 'Godslife' and with over 1 million streams behind them on Spotify in less than 18 months of release, they further refined their blend of Trap & Rock to perfection with their 2021 singles Fight Night & Reptilla Rodeo. Armed with a plethora of new tracks, SHADE UK made their debut live appearances in 2022 with DON BROCO in London and Liverpool, as well as selling out their own headline show in Bristol.
The trio kicked off 2023 with their single 'Lions Den' which featured on the BBC Introducing Rock show with Alyx Holcombe.They followed up Lions Den with another sold out show in Bristol and announced their headline UK dates. 'Anubis' dropped in June 2023 and was swiftly added to the 'All New Metal', 'New Blood' and 'Metal UK' Spotify official playlists.
