SENSES – Single “Under Your Spell” from the upcoming album “Out of Line"

Senses was founded Athens/Greece in September 2022 by guitarist Dim Argio and draws inspiration from the electrifying synth music of the '80s. With producer Bob Katsionis (Firewind, Outloud, Stray Gods), Senses began recording the album at Sound Symmetry Studio from January to March 2023. 

The band was completed with the addition of musicians John Agkor and John Fill, creating a cohesive and powerful sound.

The production, recording, and mixing of the album were overseen by Bob Katsionis, while the mastering was done by Naso Nomiko at VU Productions Mastering Studio. The artwork was created by  Angelos Margaritis.

Description of the Song  "Under Your Spell"

The lyrics of the song "Under Your Spell" refer to a person who is trapped in a toxic relationship. The mention of a picture on their wall, reminding them of their darkest moments, shows how deeply they have been affected by this relationship. Their feelings are mixed, as despite recognizing the negative impact of the other person on their life, they cannot overcome the attraction and dependence they feel.

The lyrics depict a strong emotional struggle, where the person acknowledges the signs of betrayal and deceit but admits they couldn't see them from the beginning. Even so, the power of attraction and the need to keep their sorrow at bay lead them to continuous submission to the other's "spell."
