Bio

“It’s sparse, hypnotic, thrilling and a perfect lesson that less is more.” BB Skone

Thought provoking, unpretentious lyrics; deep bass lines and infectious, uplifting melodies create a powerful yet light-hearted groove with a warm unique reggae twist.

Since their lively debut in 2021, La Loba have been gigging continuously and delighting audiences with their signature high vibe West Coast sound. Infused with bewitching joie de vivre, which captivates the crowd, and gutsy appreciation for the groove. Sunny afternoon music from the West of Wales.

La Loba have been playing together since 2020 going live in 2021. They perform as a duo, three piece or full band. Their style is constantly evolving, and no two live shows are the same. Becca’s soulful approach to songwriting is backed up by Toms indefatigable technical skills, multi-instrumental abilities and innate musicality. The resulting sound is a perfect balance of masculine and feminine energies. Sensitivity and strength, grit and honey, wildness and control.

“There is a raw, unpolished quality to the music which is backed up by solid songwriting and an unpretentious style which is full of potential. The lyrics are intelligent and provoke emotions.” Dave Pemberton, producer Groove Armada, Prodigy

“I have seen La Loba live, and played their music on my radio show, many times over the past few years and they just seem to get better and better. Becca’s vocals have become more confident and now truly shine. Her guitar playing melds perfectly with Tom’s understated, calm, necessary percussion work and Adam has slotted in like he’s been there forever. It’s sparse, hypnotic, thrilling and the perfect lesson that less is more.” BB Skone, Radio presenter, critic.
