Reciprocal Roles announce second single ‘Foundry’

‘Foundry’ was the first song that we wrote together and it holds a special place in our hearts for its beauty and tension/release. We are proud of our DIY roots and ‘Foundry’ was recorded, mixed and mastered by our guitarist in his summerhouse home studio. Since we started releasing music in February 2024, we have been featured on alternative rock radio stations, included on numerous shoegaze blogs and playlists, and we are looking to expand and develop connections with existing and new listeners.
Reciprocal Roles are a three piece alternative rock band based in Nottingham, UK; their ethereal and intense sound draws inspiration from shoegaze, post-rock and dream pop. Reciprocal Roles explore relational and developmental themes of attachment, memory and change. The band comprises of Andy Walker (vocals and bass guitar), Dave Carlill (guitar), Rich Horrocks (drums). Influences include Mogwai, Cocteau Twins, and My Vitriol, and newer artists like Slow Crush, Brutus, and Softcult.
