Reading Alt-Rockers InAir Return With Blistering New Single 'Leap of Faith'
InAir are an Alt Rock three piece from Reading. As a band they have a passion for contrasting sparkling cleans with atmospheric synths; typically backed up by a driven climactic chorus. Drawing from a wide range of influences, their alternative electronic rock sound is ever shifting and evolving. The band released their second EP "Dreamful" in September 2019 and are beginning to release a collection of new singles from late September.
Highlights to date include supporting bands such as: Arcane Roots, Press To Meco, As Everything Unfolds, THECITYISOURS, Junior, Veridian, Death Remains, Neshiima, Defences and Lastelle.
The three-piece have also enjoyed a number of hometown shows including headlining a BBC introducing night at Purple Turtle, headlining the second stage at Readipop Festival 2016 and supporting Arcane Roots at Sub89.
In addition the guys also run their own festival called Reading Rising which this year features established bands such as Press To Meco, As Everything Unfolds and THECITYISOURS.
The three piece also received a KKK from Kerrang! Magazine for their EP "A Different Light". They have also had airplay on BBC Introducing in Berkshire, primordial radio and many others.
Indeed, the band’s latest single ‘Leap of Faith’ is “a song about feeling anxious in taking the first step in that journey towards achieving one’s goals.”
“Working on the vocal layers and harmonies with Joe in this track was particularly fun stepping out of my usual role of drums and synths.” explains Conor, while Aaron explains that he “had a lot of fun building the guitar layers in this track drawing on some of my influences from my younger days in the parts.”
Indeed, Leap of Faith feels like yet another step up for the Reading-based rockers who with each release, seem to go from strength to strength.
