"The Last Day Of The Universe" cools the fervent aggressive nature of previous releases and takes on a more introspective tone. Taking a year to complete, the single features Rock, Industrial, and Alternative overtones wrapped in a bittersweet cinematic shell. Featuring a passionate vocal performance wrapped in a yearning soundscape created from soothing synthesizers, steady drums, and somber guitars, Raizer has proven once again that they have no boundaries. Here we are at "The Last Day Of The Universe."
Dropping with the release of the song is the official music video, an AI animated themed piece featuring the band overdrawn by AI animation fused between futuristic spatial themes and past historical feats. The video is a perfect illustration of the introspective nature of the track.
"This is a very unusual track for us,"explainsRaizer, "the inspiration for it came to me in a vivid dream with a cinematic quality. I was left awestruck upon waking up and wrote the music in just five minutes. As fate would have it, the demo of this song served as the backdrop for some significant events in both my personal life and that of the band's. Betrayal, moving to another country, the guitarist leaving the band. All the excitement poured out when recording this track. Even though this track is about the last time the world existed. But it's also about the love that lived to the very last moment of the universe. And that will be the new beginning."
