Geometry of Chaos release the concept EP “Imaginary friends”
Three years after the previous album, the second studio work by Fabio La Manna's Geometry of Chaos “Imaginary friends” is now available on all digital platforms.
Five tracks for more than 42 minutes of music, that continue what “Soldiers of the new world order” had started and remain on the same challenging path: the difficulty of succeeding with our own strength and the need for support during the moments of discouragement. It's particularly evident in the title track, but also in all the other songs: lyrics can be read as dialogues. The interlocutor might be a physical person, an imaginary one or from other realities: the interpretation is up to the listener.
Focusing on the mere musical aspect, “Imaginary friends” represents progressive in the most wide and academic meaning of the term. Influences go from '70s prog rock to death metal, going through blues and soundtrack-like music, just to mention the most discernible.
“Imaginary friends” has been composed in all its parts by Fabio La Manna, except for the lyrics of “Lies of Vampire”, written together with Davide Cardella.
Guitars, bass guitar and the voice on “Distant voices” are by Fabio La Manna, drums are by Davide Cardella, keyboards are by Charles Soulz, sax on “Lies of Vampire” is by Patricio Bottcher; the vocal parts are by Marcelo Vieira (lead voice), Ethan Cronin (lead voice on “Tulpa”, growl and backing vocals on “Imaginary friends”) and Elena Lippe (guest vocalist on “Imaginary friends”).
“Imaginary friends” has been recorded and produced by Fabio La Manna; mix and mastering by Daniel Salcido (Command Space Audio – Chicago).

Geometry of Chaos is a progressive metal project by Fabio La Manna, mainly guitarist but also bass guitar and keyboard player and author of music and lyrics.
The band merges his solo work with what remains of Alchemy Room, in which Davide Cardella played drums for a while. Davide keeps collaborating constantly with Fabio, as well as Charles Soulz on keyboards.
The singers are all guests: Marcelo Vieira, Ethan Cronin ed Elena Lippe.
