Finish Blackened Death Metal band Praecidisti released their new maxi-single «Ashes» from the band's upcoming full-length album. The release was recorded at old military barracks in Hiukkavaara, and mixed/mastered by Ville Kyrönniemi.

Praecidisti was formed in 2020 at Oulu, Finland by a group of friends Matti Saastamoinen (Vocals), Niklas Karlsson (Bass), Ville Kyrönniemi (Keyboards) and JP Meriläinen (Drums). And little after Riku Ahvenjärvi (Guitars) and Henri Jantunen (Guitars/Vocals) joined the band and the lineup was completed.
Praecidisti is a blackened deathmetal band from Oulu. It was founded 2020 by a group of frends JP Meriläinen, Niklas Karlsson, Ville Kyrönniemi and Matti Saastamoinen. And little after Riku Ahvenjärvi and Henri Jantunen joined the band.
First song “Scheme of the Void” was released start of a next year. The second release “Paradise of Pestilence” was released end of a same year. At the same time Praecidisti played their first live gigs in Oulu area.
Once a first EP was released, we started to compose and writing our first full album. The style changed from very raw to more modern, but not that much that we would be a POP band. We take making music seriously. All the songs are made by band members from start to finish. Recording, mixing and mastering is made by Ville Kyrönniemi. Usually everybody does their own parts to the songs, but we always think that the creator is who originally started to make the specific song. Songs usually tell a story about how the world is failing and everything is going to rot.
We released two songs from upcoming album in May this year. Songs “Ashened” and “F.E.A.R” are taking the album to more black metal style. These songs tell what kind of music we will focus on doing and what kind of style the album will be.
