Potent UK metallers Sypha to unleash 'Borderland' EP on Friday 24th January

ENERGETIC HARD HITTERS ARE SET TO RISE WITH THEIR ENGROSSING NEW SINGLE & EP!

Potent UK metallers, SYPHA, have announced themselves with their engulfing new single and video, Limbo, out now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDh0pfzFIPI . The track is lifted from the band’s blistering debut EP, Borderland, which arrives on Friday 24th January.

Brighton riff slingers, SYPHA, are a metal band with a difference. Born in 2022, and comprised of Alicia Pilling (Vocals), Alfred Atkins (Guitar), Will Cheesman (Bass), and James Anthony (Drums), the quartet take from heavyweight heroes such as Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, and Bring Me The Horizon, but also blend the guile and melody of everyone from Blink182, Halestorm, and Marmozets. Music fans and followers quickly caught onto the band with their debut video, World’s End, which racked up over 55,000 views on YouTube alone. But it’s also been on the live circuit where the emerging metallers have excelled, with a growing fanbase brought about by a successful series of shows throughout Southern England and making it to the grand final of Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses.

Always ones to evolve, their recent single, Dirty Floor, showcased a new style and shift for the band, and this progression has been lapped up by critics and new fans alike. SYPHA have now released their next single and video, Limbo, and vocalist Alicia Pilling remarks: "’Limbo’ highlights our evolved dark, metal sound. Both lyrically and visually inspired by Manga series Alice in Borderland, it explores the twisted realm between life and death. With siren-like synths, gritty riffs, and sharp drums - it’s our heaviest release yet.”

SYPHA are also gearing for the release of their debut EP, Borderland, which includes the breathtaking singles, Dirty Floor and Limbo. With a host of festival appearances scheduled for 2025 including Hammerdown festival, Breaking Bands, and more, and with a full UK tour on the horizon, next year promises to be a defining one for SYPHA.
