Bio:
I’m Joy Doc - a liquid drum and bass producer, vocalist, songwriter, DJ & pianist from New Barnet, London. I released my debut E.P 'Sunshine' on Lady of the House in March 2023 after getting down to the top 10 of their demo competition. Since then I have released three tracks independently. 'Been Here Before' was premiered by Data Transmission Dnb & on 17.07.23 it was chosen as 'Fresh Faves' on 'Fresh On the Net' (BBC 6 Tom Robinson). In November and December, it received several Kiss FM radio plays from Fred V on his drum and bass show. My February release with Niall T 'Ur Touch' has already had support from BBC Introducing East Midlands and my other February release 'Relax Your Mind' which came out on High Tea Music, was supported by Degs. Some of my favourite dnb artists include Fred V & Wilkinson. My approach to producing dnb tracks is very musical and uses my piano skills heavily.
