Ahead of a summer full of new releases, Oli Barton announces the pre-order for the vinyl release of his debut single, "It’s Over Now" on 21st June which includes a brand new B-side, "You Just Played My Mind." Originally described as "a guitar-based indie teenage dream" by XS Noize, "It’s Over Now" has become Oli’s most popular track and will be released physically on 20th September 2024.

"You Just Played My Mind" is no ordinary B-side though. Leaning into the darker, moodier tones of his second single, "The Light," the track transitions from a smooth and seductive verse into a massive, all-guns-blazing chorus. Inspired by doomed romances and extreme incompatibility, it delves into the complex emotions of two people who just don't work together.

Since starting to release music independently through his label, Coke & Dagger Records, Oli has been featured multiple times on BBC Radio nationwide. He's also caught the attention of major festivals across the UK and has supported artists such as Starsailor, Kid Kapichi, and Baxter Dury. This journey has led to a series of singles set to be released throughout 2024, showcasing all of Oli’s strengths as an artist.
