Announces new live dates

TaliaBle, the 25-year old rapper and visual artist, is today releasing her bold, norm-defying debut EP All Desires Trouble Us, which arrives via PRAH Recordings. A busy day for TaliaBle, she also features on the new Metronomy EP Posse which is released today.

All Desires Trouble Us is a theatrical and fierce debut, pushing the boundaries of experimental rap. Opener ‘Live’, a dark and sensuous late night cut, is followed by lead single ‘Pandora’z Spit’ which sees TaliaBle channel her rage into a gloriously glitchy piece that playfully describes the harsh reality of an underground artist: the grit, the anxiety, the risk, the fun and the yearning to be heard, to be seen, to feel safe. Next up, ‘Metal Club’ clocks in at just under two minutes and is about the minds overstimulation, the vices, the distractions, the f*k it punk attitude, the self-destruction. It’s a palate-cleansing dose of energy before the poignant narrative of ‘Problem Solving Pit’ with its bed of warped string samples and freeform double bass, showcasing the rapper’s dark femininity and charisma. The EP closes with the atmospheric ‘Dudette’ and its simple yet addictive hook.

TaliaBle’s 5 track EP All Desires Trouble Us warps the brave ear through a playful dystopia of poetic pain. The whimsical rapper explores storytelling of inner turmoil, the black and queer experience, British youth culture, council house living and fluctuating mental health. TaliaBle poignantly delivers punk rap over electronic, bass heavy sound waves - which unapologetically experiments with glitches and dizzying imperfections.

TaliaBle is a North London based, punk rapper and visual artist who creates a world full of surplus wonder, surrealism and raw stories. Gaining attention from the likes of i-D and The Face as well as headlining a ‘Late at the Tate’ show, TaliaBle has been hailed as ‘exciting, experimental and punk as hell.’ From 100 Club to Keep Hush, Roundhouse, Outbreak Festival, KOKO and Pickle Factory, TaliaBle is carving out a yellow brick road through the underground scene proving her intention of ‘utilising music as a soundscape catalyst for imaginary world building.’

Born and raised in Tottenham, TaliaBle found her voice through poetry, writing about mental health, social injustice and the Black experience while studying at Central Saint Martins. Here, she also developed her own visual language which now permeates throughout her work. She has directed music videos for the likes of Nia Archives, Obongjayar, and Cruel Santino. During her time working at music broadcasting platform Keep Hush her eyes were opened to the underground music scene. It was there she met hardcore punk producer Karl Brinaj. Recognising her raw talent and moshpit-inducing potential, Karl played a pivotal role in shaping TaliaBle's abrasive sound, marking the beginning of an exciting artistic collaboration.
