New Single: "The Crown" by LiveKill out 25 August 2023 via SWOL Records

The single is accompanied by a video - the first in a three part narrative. The band has been hard at work with Thomas Crane and KillDevil films creating a deeper story to support upcoming singles.

Behind the Track
"I started writing this song in 2020 when several musical icons passed. I thought about how much influence they had in the industry and how many people were inspired by them. On October 6th, 2020, Eddie Van Halen passed away and this one really hit home for me. I wanted to write a heavy hitting song with a relatable theme - where the listener could insert their own heroes and remember the impact they had on them and those around them."

- John Snell [Guitarist/Producer]

Behind the Video
The music video is the first in a three part series exploring themes of loss, struggle, and finally empowerment. The video for "The Crown" is filled with dark imagery representing feelings of tragic loss and the darkness those experiences can bring with them. The video concludes with our protagonist gearing up to handle the coming battles.

Behind the Artwork
We wanted to capture the feeling and aggressive tone of the song in an image. "The Crown" is all about tragic loss with a sliver of hope, that sometimes when we lose something great, that we can be called to do something great ourselves. The single artwork was a collaboration between John Snell [Guitarist/Producer] and James Hawkins [Vocals].
