New single ‘Nice To Say Hello’ by indie band The Rogues - OUT NOW

We’re The Rogues, a five-piece indie-rock n roll band from Newport, South Wales. Our new, third single ‘Nice To Say Hello’ is releasing on FRIDAY 10TH OF NOVEMBER as we look to top off an amazing twelve months of relentless gigging, and releasing of music. 

Words of insight on 'Nice To Say Hello' 

from bassist Ben Slade;

‘Nice To Say Hello’ is a gripping song about losing someone you love, the feelings of loneliness, and the emotions of frustration and confusion that can come with it. 

The lyrics in the verses paint a good firsthand picture of a turbulent individual whose world is very much ‘in a spin’.  

The music goes hand in hand with this throughout as a steady beat, intertwined with melody, dynamically creates a dangerous sense of it all spiralling out of control as the song edges forward. 

The pre-choruses bring a shift of energy that builds into powerful choruses with optimistic lyrics, and a tough riff which later leads to a classic bridge section featuring a short piercing solo, almost like a final outcry, setting the tone for an empowered final chorus and outro.
