New Album "Distilled Aggression" by Bloodyard - OUT NOW!

Formed in mid 2010, Bloodyard are a 4 piece Groove/Death metal band, based in North-West England.The band consists of Donna Hurd on vocals, Nick Adamson on guitar, Dave Cowley on bass, and Matty Lee on drums. Bloodyard have spent many years finely tuning their own brand of Heavy Metal, with a mix of Death, Groove, Black, and Doom metal drawing comparisons with Heavy Metal legends Lamb of God, Bolt Thrower, Cannibal Corpse and may more.

They have been playing live since 2011 and have played some of the very best venues and festivals all over the UK, including Manchester Academy and Birmingham Academy. In 2015 Bloodyard won Metal to the Masses and earned themselves a slot at that year’s Bloodstock Festival, and had the honour of appearing in a special feature about the festival on Scuzz TV.

Bloodyard are returning to Bloodstock in 2023, appearing on the Sophie Lancaster stage on Friday August 11th. As well as Bloodstock, they have played at the very best Metal festivals the UK has to offer such as Hammerfest (2019), HRH Metal (2017, 2019), Beermaggedon (2017), Thrashersaurus (2019), Breaking Bands Festival (2016), and Mammothfest (2016).

Bloodyard currently have four studio releases to their name, the "Set to Fall" EP (2014), the "Darker Rage" EP (2016), their full length album "Orchard of Corpses" (2020) and it's brand new follow up, "Distilled Aggression" (2023). All four releases have been met with wide spread acclaim from the music press.
