Naomi Campbell is an Acoustic Folk songwriter inspired by classic female Soul, Country and R&B singers. Originally from a small town in rural Ireland, Naomi has primarily written from her more traditional roots, now based in Liverpool with a full band backing her, Naomi is exploring inspirations from a hybrid of genres combining softer Americana influences with the earthy, grittier vocalists of the 60s and 70s.
Over the past year Naomi has been busy honing her live sound with shows across the UK supporting artists such as Chris Helme (The Seahorses), John Calvin Abney, Blue Goose, Campbell/Jensen and Muireann Bradley. In March 2024 Naomi self-produced and released her debut single 'Tuesday’s News' ("a sobering yet life-affirming slice of acoustic folk” - Liverpool Noise), inspired by the West Coast sounds of Laurel Canyon. Naomi's second independent release 'This Is Gold' was released in July.
Whilst performing across Nashville and Memphis last year, Naomi visited the world renowned Sun Studio where she recorded the upcoming single 'Don't You Mind'. Now, the track is set for release along with the full band version recorded in Liverpool at the Motor Museum recording studio.

"In 2021 a friend and I started a new project called Tin Can Voodoo for which we delved into classic Blues, Rock, R&B & Soul classics performing with a full band every Wednesday night. Having been performing primarily as an Americana/Folk artist up until this point, being able to sing songs from powerhouse vocalists such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Bobbie Gentry inspired me to incorporate a little more roots and Soul into my own writing. I wrote Don’t You Mind in September last year reflecting on being able to share your troubles with your other half and letting them carry some of the weight" - Naomi Campbell
