Gengahr are today sharing the first remixed single from their new album Red Sun Titans. Fan favourite 'In The Moment' has been given a sweeping and expansive reworking by mui zyu to become the 'In the Moment (Sleep Terror Version)' remix.
mui zyu has drawn a host of admirers for her latest album Rotten Bun for an Eggless Century - including Pitchfork, Crack, Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit + more) - and here she mutates the song into a dream-like wash of distorted passages and contorted vocals.
Of the remix she says: “I opened the cauldron and poured the limbs of Gengahr’s ‘In The Moment’ in to the bubbly broth, simmered it for an eternity until all that was left was the cosmic detritus which became this mui zyu remix…”

Gengahr will be hitting the road on a headline tour through the UK and Europe this September and October. Tickets are on sale now.
Gengahr recently released their acclaimed new album Red Sun Titans and have already been showcasing it at UK festivals this summer, with new singles ‘A Ladder’, ‘In The Moment’, and title-track 'Red Sun Titans' quickly becoming live favourites. Released via Liberator Music (part of The Mushroom Group, which is home to artists including DMA’S, Vance Joy, Childish Gambino, Wolf Alice and more), new album Red Sun Titans is the sound of a band reborn – harnessing the energy and inspiration of their past but with a bold and fiercely independent vision for the future. It’s an album “caught in between two worlds,” as frontman Felix Bushe puts it – a colourful celebration where you’ve come from, and dreaming of where you could go from here.

Further praise for Gengahr
The Gengahr gift for penning smart, sophisticated, earworm singles has long been common knowledge. Their 2020 single ‘Heavenly Maybe’ was playlisted on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio X – winning further accolades as both BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record in The World and Greg James’ Tune of The Week – with the album Sanctuary featuring as Album Of The Day on 6 Music, Jack Saunders' Album For The Weekend on BBC Radio 1 and Album Of The Week on Amazing Radio. This was also recently exemplified with their playful pop single “A Ladder”, which was released last month to critical acclaim earning multiple plays across BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music and widespread plaudits at press.
