Mosaic follow up Scouting For Girls and Toploader supports with brand new single ‘Fairytale’ and accompanying music video

FFO: McFly, Weezer, Blink 182

Fresh off the back of a Good Times Yate performance which saw them support Toploader and Scouting For Girls, Mosaic have unveiled a brand new single, Fairytale - along with a music video - for release on August 2nd.

Bassist Chris Brain says ‘Fairytale takes a playful look on a seemingly dysfunctional relationship which, to an outsider, looks as though it’s destined to fail. Although fraught with arguments and incompatibility, Fairytale relays the message that it’s impossible to judge others lives based on the small glimpses we see. What appears to be unhealthy or toxic may actually be full of love behind closed doors’.

Over the past 18 months, Mosaic have gone from strength to strength. The Bristol-based trio has released four singles, sold out headline shows - including a wild evening at Bristol’s iconic Fleece - and toured the rest UK to a passionate reception. Mixing catchy lyrics, resonant harmonies and feel good pop punk hooks has become a staple of Mosaic’s sound, drawing comparisons to McFly, Weezer, and Blink 182.

As for the rest of 2024, Mosaic’s plans are grand. Not only will there be more new music, but shows in new cities as well as a headline appearance at Bristol’s Rough Trade suggest to everyone that Mosaic are only just getting going.

Fairytale is available to stream/download now.
