MEMPHIS MAY FIRE — Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (guitar), Cory Elder (bass), and Jake Garland (drums) — are pleased to release their new album SHAPESHIFTER today, via longtime label Rise Records. The album is already receiving critical acclaim and recognition from SPIN, New Noise, Idobi, and more.
The band have steadily released single from the album and wrap with the videos for "Versus" and "Love Is War," which are thematically and lyrically intertwined.

“Some wars don't start with a battle cry, they start in the quiet, when love begins to fracture beneath the weight of unspoken wounds,"explains Mullins. "'Versus' and 'Love Is War' are two sides of the same wound. One is the tension before the fallout, the moment when pride eclipses reason and love teeters on the edge of war. The other is what happens when the line is crossed. These songs aren’t just about conflict, they’re about the cost of holding on when letting go might be the only way out."

Memphis May Fire will embark on a headline tour of North America in Spring 2025, with support from Caskets, Wind Walkers, and Elijah. The tour kicks off April 16 in Little Rock and runs through May 17 in Atlanta. It includes appearances at several key spring festivals, such as Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville.
