MASSIVE SCAR ERA's "Endorphins" Takes Egyptian Infused Metal To A New Level

Known for pushing the boundaries of music and blending genres, Massive Scar Era once again captivates audiences with its unique fusion of progressive rock, post-grunge, Egyptian music, and metal. They now have a video out for the track “Endorphins”, and Amr explains her vision for the EP:
"I want fans to feel the intensity and energy of metal while being embraced by the melodic beauty and cultural nuances of traditional Egyptian Arabic music. It's an opportunity for them to embark on a musical journey that transcends boundaries and creates a unique fusion of genres. With heartfelt appreciation, I thank everyone who has made this dream come true, and I invite you all to join us on this remarkable musical journey."

The band’s formation stemmed from Cherine Amr's desire to explore songwriting within a complete band framework. Despite the challenges of maintaining a consistent lineup, this approach led to collaborations with diverse arrangers and songwriters, resulting in a rich and dynamic musical experience.
This EP possesses a distinct nature due to its special concept. It is particularly appealing to metal enthusiasts who appreciate a diverse range of folkloric influences. Fans who enjoy the fusion of metal and various folk elements will find great enjoyment in this EP, especially those who enjoy Merkfolk, Aeternam, and Huntress.
“Metal Goes Egyptian" was recorded and filmed with a traditional Egyptian Arabic music orchestra in Studio Mix Art in Montreal, Canada. The EP was released on November 3, 2023 and is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music at the following link: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/massivescarera/metal-goes-egyptian-2
